Terms of Use

HuskerSnax is an independent Nebraska sports fan site. These terms describe the rules for using its accounts, content, chat and prediction features.

Accounts and membership

Public sports coverage is available without registration. If you create an account, provide accurate contact information, use a unique password and keep your credentials private. Do not impersonate others or share access to an administrator account. Accounts, chat and prediction participation are not intended for children under 13. Minors should use interactive features with a parent or guardian’s permission.

Fan, Varsity and All-American are membership labels. Higher levels currently do not promise paid benefits, merchandise or access to future features. Administrative permissions are separate and assigned manually. No payment or subscription is currently required.

Acceptable conduct

Use respectful leaderboard names and profile images. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, publish private information, upload content you lack permission to use, distribute malware, bypass access controls, evade usage limits or disrupt the service. Automated abuse, multiple accounts used to manipulate standings and attempts to access other users’ private information are prohibited.

Management may remove abusive material, correct manipulated results or restrict accounts that violate these rules. Contact info@huskersnax.com if you believe a restriction or correction was mistaken.

Snax Picks rules

• Snax Picks is a free football prediction game. There are no entry fees, wagers, cash payouts or prizes.
• Each account can submit one prediction per listed game and revise it before the displayed pick deadline. A prediction must identify a winner; tied predicted football scores are not accepted.
• Picks may be submitted before kickoff times are announced. Picks lock at confirmed kickoff, or at midnight at the start of game day in the venue’s time zone if kickoff is still unconfirmed. A confirmed kickoff received before that fallback deadline replaces it. Once a deadline passes, a later update does not automatically reopen picks. Schedule changes or postponements may require administrative review; a game is not automatically reopened merely because a date changes.
• Scoring is 3 points for the correct winner, 2 for Nebraska’s exact score and 2 for the opponent’s exact score: a maximum of 7 per game.
• Only confirmed final results are scored. Cancelled games earn no points. Corrections to official results may change standings.
• Leaderboard names and picks are visible to signed-in fans after kickoff. Points have no monetary value. Future prize competitions would need separate rules.

AI, forecasts and sports information

SnaxBot can make mistakes. SnaxCast is an estimated win probability, not a guarantee, betting recommendation or financial advice. Schedules, TV assignments, player availability, rankings, recruiting information and weather may change. Verify important game-day details with the team, venue, broadcaster or weather authority. Do not rely on a game-day forecast as an emergency warning service.

Content and intellectual property

HuskerSnax’s original site design, writing and branding are protected to the extent permitted by law. Third-party articles, images, videos, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. A fact being public does not make another publisher’s writing or photography free to copy. Links and embeds do not transfer ownership or grant permission to republish their content.

You retain ownership of material you submit and give HuskerSnax permission to store, process and display it as needed for the feature you use, subject to the Privacy Policy. Do not upload another person’s photo or private information without permission.

Independent publication and external services

HuskerSnax is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nebraska Athletics, HuskerMax or Runza. Links to articles, YouTube, service providers and donation sites do not imply endorsement. Publisher subscriptions and donations are handled by those organizations under their own terms.

Availability and responsibility

The site is provided on an as-available basis. Features may change or be interrupted, and information may be incomplete or delayed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, HuskerSnax does not promise uninterrupted service or error-free information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
